He checked my air conditioner and said he thought it was a capacitor. He put in a new one, but that wasn’t the problem. He put the old one back in and took the motor out to check it. It ended up only being a dirty motor. He cleaned it up and charged me for a tune-up. He could have left the new part in and charged for that, but he didn’t.
